Feast – Christmas at The Johnston Collection

Many years ago, 2013 in fact artists and guilds

from the Mornington Peninsula were invited to

create works for The Johnston Collection.

This year work from the last four Christmases past

have been invited to exhibit their work once again.

Stitching Day/Sewing Bee Cafe!

On a cold winters day we set up

for the stitching day with The Sewing Bee Cafe.

Project for the day was my Clementine bag available in 2 colourways.

No time for me to take pics during the day,

these next pics are courtesy of The Sewing Bee Cafe.

All of these lovely ladies busy with

English Paper Piecing and making 3D flowers.

A very generous gift of this bundle of fabrics,

matches perfectly with others from my stash.

Thank you to every one who attended and

Debbie & Sonia for making this a fun memorable day.

Lots of homework completed at yesterdays

Baltimore Garden class

at The Sewing Bee Cafe.

Loving those bluebirds, both completely different

but both gorgeous.

Show and tell in class was a completed ‘Winter Blooms”

this great country we live in. Some I have posted before and others are totally new.

Grow Your Blog!

Today I’m participating in the 3rd annual

‘Grow Your Blog’ meet and greet party.

So following the guidelines from our host here goes.

Hi, I’m Julie and I live on the beautiful

Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.

Patchwork is a huge part of my life, being career,

hobby and passion. I love to design quilts and have more

designs drawn than I could possibly ever make in my lifetime.

There is always a quilt show, group

or new shop to visit, and many like minded people to meet.

Not to mention all the new quilts to start.

Quilts 3

Two of my quilts where all members of a friendship

group contribute to each others quilts.

Quilts 2

Quilts 1

The quilts made for teaching/patterns as well as those

made just because are starting to mount up.

These are just the ones at home at the moment,

most are out on loan to shops that stock my patterns.

Thats enough about me, I’m looking forward to visiting

many of the blogs participating and commenting

in the ‘Grow Your Blog’ party.
