Fragrant wild freesias

The last few weeks we have been on holidays,

no posts over that time but lots of photos for the next week or so of places we’ve visited.

The first weekend we were on the Ninety-Mile Beach,

always a favorite weekend/holiday destination for us.

Just love the sound of the ocean, waves crashing on the beach,

there is something very soothing to just watching the water.

We never know what we will see, whales, dolphins or sometimes even seals.

Not this time though, just the whole beach to ourselves.

While taking a walk one day we came across some vacant blocks

that were totally covered with fragrant wild freesia flowers.

Just lucky to be there at the right time to see such a wonderful display.

Also spotted these on one of our many walks.

David them went back to his fishing and I back to cutting and making bias stems.

          Thank you for visiting
