Quilt Showcase

Caught the train early on Saturday to what promised to be a fabulous day

of catching up with friends at the Craft and Quilt Fair.

My first stop as always is the Quilt Showcase from the Victorian Quilters

members. I had some time before meeting up with friends and

spent much of it looking at all the beautiful quilts.

I also caught up with Linda Steele who was the guest Profile a Quilter

this year. There was a retrospective display of Linda’s quilts and I was given

permission to photograph her quilts for my blog.

Star Chain 2000

Grandma’s Country Album 2  2000

Civil War Butterflies 2001

Scottish Dance 2006

One of my personal favourites and

has won many awards both here and in the U.S.A.

Seasons

It was then time to meet up with Julie from Terang Cottage Crafts and Carmen

along with two of Carmen’s friends for some serious shopping.

Also stopped by to say hello to the girls at Sewing’n’Beyond.

After a wonderful day it was then time to catch the train home and

to draw some rough sketches of new designs from all that had inspired me.

          Thank you for visiting

  1. What did you think of the waverley quilters challenge – how about the winner of those tiny little 5c pc sized hexagons – it was amazing. We had a good day too!
