Classes

The last couple of weeks has been extremly busy with lots of classes happening.

One of them being Laurel Cottage, the last of nine Block of the Month

classes at Patchwork Passion. The last class was the final borders, everyone

was working on finishing applique, piecing from other months.

I have enjoyed this class immensely, a wonderful group of ladies.

Another class was Love Ring a traditional setting for the drunkards path block

at Sewing’n’Beyond. This class was for one day, but the girls enjoyed it so much,

we extended the class to a second day.

This gergous quilt was made from flannel, when Sue-Ellen was laying it out

she wanted to see it in black and white which looked just as gorgeous.

The matching border fabric was a vibrant mix of all the colours from the blocks.

Cindy bought along her design wall to lay the blocks out on.

Sally used a layer cake from the French General range and had just enough

lights and darks for this quilt and also matching fabrics for the borders.

My apologies to everyone who didn’t have their quilts photographed,

unfortunately I have to remember to either (a) take my camera to class or

(b) make sure the battery is charged.

          Thank you for visiting
