Lately I have been asked on many occasions,
about where the name Frances Lilly came from.
It started me wondering where the names for blogs,
online shops all get their names from and who comes up with them.
Mine has come from my paternal grandmother.
She had such a beautiful name and I thought it would be a lovely way to remember
her by as she played such a large part of my childhood.
I remember this chair as a child and it has being living at my home for quite some time.
It is too fragile to sit on but is great for draping quilts over.
This chair is one of many items that were Nana’s that are now part of our home,
from furniture to kitchen items that are very much treasured.
I wil try to include some of them in future postings.
