Picked up a copy of Chintz Quilts, page after page of beautiful
quilts and fabrics. It was a must have book to go in my
small library of antique quilts books. More can be seen here.
Of course there was some chintz fabrics to purchase
and we came away with these.
Borders and prints to match a panel I received as
a Christmas present last year.
As promised here are some more of these beautiful quilts.
This last one, I drew up this block and pieced the centre.
For one very lucky recipient.
This year Quilts in the Barn was “All About Chinz”
and we certainly weren’t disappointed.

is on again this weekend. This is one event that I try not to miss.

Wednesdays class at Palm Beach Quilting
was the last class for these ladies making my Morning Jewel quilt.
While Meret, Margaret and Shelia worked steadily away on their applique.
Babara, Chris and Betty had met inbetween classes to produce these gergous
quilt tops ready for the appliqued borders.
Being the last class they decided to bring a special lunch.
Cheese platter with dip and crackers, gourmet sandwiches
and gluten free cup-cakes were just some of the
home-made goodies bought along.
