Look who now is on Instagram.
In a previous post, I was making this quilt.
Quilt, pattern and photo now completed.
Jardin Parisien pattern & kit now available at The Patchwork Tea House.
Winter Blooms has been very popular this year, with another fun weekend
planned here at Lily Lane in Rosedale.
In this huge classroom and plenty of table space,
everyone has lots of space to spread out without being cramped.
Along with the fun and laughter, lots of new techniques were learnt
and soon 3D petals and flowers started to appear.
Thank you ladies for the fun weekend, would love to see your quilts.
Just a short post today,
I wanted to share these stunning camellia flowers
that were gifted to me yesterday from a friend.
Stunningly beautiful large double flowers,
so heavy the stems can hardly hold them up.
One flower fell off in the car coming home,
it fits perfectly in this vintage glass bowl.
Feeling totally spoilt.
This week I have been playing with Christmas fabrics.
These mostly have silver glitter.
Whist these have mostly gold.
A few Christmas tree blocks completed.
As well as some cute present blocks.
Stay tuned for the completed quilt top when the pattern is released.

Winter Blooms weekend workshop at Lily Lane in Rosedale.
In amongst the chatter and laughter eight lovely ladies came to learn the art
of needleturn applique and making 3D flowers.
If you would like to participate in the fun another Winter Blooms weekend workshop
is taking place next month at Lily Lane. Would love to see you there.
Yesterday I picked up one my new quilts ‘Jardin Parisien’ for the quilters,
made from the latest French General range Ville Fleurie.
Love all of the mauve/purple prints.
Today being rainy/sunny and struggling to reach double figures for much of the day,
is the perfect day to be inside by the fire stitching the binding.
(A chilly 3·7°c outside & a comfortable 18·7°c inside.)
Kits will be available from The Patchwork Tea House,
from either their website or one of the many shows they will be visiting over the next few months.
I can now reveal the new projects that were created specially for last Saturday.
Hosted by Lily Lane at the Heyfield Wetlands.
