Week/clue 5 of the Mystery Quilt is now complete,
with much of week/clue 4 also complete.
Yesterday summer storms rolled in after temperatures of 38°c. (100°f)
This was the view from the road as we raced over to the beach for more pics.
Looks impressive and makes our beach look very tropical,
but not a lot of rain for us compared to other places.
On a recent visit to Lily Lane, these quilts were spotted.

These Tula Pink fabrics were also spotted,
and very excited to bring these home with me.
New designs are drawn up & I can’t wait till I have some time to cut into them.
It is with great sadness that I share the news that
The Patchwork Tea House store in Warburton is closing down.
This beautiful shop will be missed by many,
not only for Gary’s wonderful scones and
Marilyn’s generous support and encouragement.
I wish them well in their semi retirement
and look forward to their continued friendship.

Although it was foggy early, we knew it was going to be a gloriously sunny day.
Just perfect for an excursion to Quilts in the Barn.
This is one of the favorite days that we attend every year and
we are never disappointed. This year the guest quilter is Jo Morton with
The Quilted Crow being the shop in attendance.
There were also many quilts from Linda from Quilts in the Barn.
After drooling over the quilts and giving our cards a workout,
we sat outside for coffee and cake. Just a beautiful setting.
Thank you girls for a very enjoyable day.
