Some of my new quilts came with us on our road trip
to hand stitch the bindings in the car and
hoping to find some great spots for pattern cover pics.
So many its hard to choose a favourite.
A recap of new quilts and a thank you to all of the shops, class attendees and events,
as well as the many that supported me over the past year.

The gorgeous ladies in my Baltimore Album class at
The Sewing Bee Cafe have been busy
completing their blocks before the next class.
Looking forward to seeing all of their blocks come
together in the next couple of months.
As have the ladies in my Primrose Manor class,
also at The Sewing Bee Cafe. I love that there is such
diversity of fabrics in both classes.
Spending some time with these lovely ladies from all over
Victoria on retreat at the beautiful Lakes Entrance,
organised by Lily Lane.
Who doesn’t love a weekend of stitching, sewing,
catching up with like minded friends and making new ones.

Show and tell after lunch, these star blocks produced from the morning and
with Jen displaying blocks for her version of Illusions.

of my Morning Glory design.

Easter on the Ninety Mile Beach this year started
with some not so good weather, overcast, windy
and rough seas. Although we love this beach
in all weather.
What a difference a day makes,
clear skies, calm water and not another person in sight.
A visit to the newly opened
Lily Lane Too was in order to purchase some needed supplies.
To complete my stack of stars.
For many, many months Maureen from
Palm Beach Quilting and I have been collaborating
on one of many projects we hope to work on together.
This one is for release at the AMQ Festival in Adelaide.
Much time has been spent pouring over
my library of quilt designs, fabric swatches and colour cards.
Bolts of fabric were ordered and soon began to arrive.
I spent many nights completing this new design and
have now handed it to Maureen to quilt
(which as writing this, have heard the quilting is completed)
and bind before I get to
photograph it for the new pattern.
Just a small snippet of a corner before its release later this month.
