Every year talented artists and craftspeople from around Victoria

create beautiful items based on the life and collection of

William Johnston and the story of Christmas.

This year the Mornington Peninsula Patchworkers as well

as many other groups were invited to participate in

‘Christmas at The Johnston Collection‘.

For the past twelve months many of us have attended

bi-monthly meetings to show the progress of our work.

This was something I really wanted to be involved in.

After having my initial drawings approved,

which was based on a piece of furniture and

Mr Johnston’s love of roses, started collecting fabrics.
