Friday’s class

Fridays class again saw many girls working on different projects.

Melissa’s completed quilt top.

As this is only Melissa’s  second quilt, it is quite an achievement.

This gorgeous bright fabric had to come home

with me for a very special project.

New Quilt

A visit to Primitive Patches late last week resulted in these purchases.

This really bright fabric for a special project.

And these, to go with some fabrics from my stash.

I came home so inspired, I couldn’t wait to start something new.

And with some cutting and stitching I turned the fabric

 into these the same afternoon.

More photos later as the quilt progresses.

New class

After two weeks of the whole family having headcolds/sinusitus.

(some having a repeated dose) We now feel like we’re back in the land of the living.

So much to catch up on, class samples to complete and be sent off to the quilter,

many things being left while everyone was unwell.

New class has started at Sewing’n’Beyond.

In the first class everyone was able to complete at least one star,

with many completing two. While others deciding to

work on quilts already started in previous classes.

In the second class we worked on completing the block, with some strip piecing.

Its great to see everyones colour choices, with two deciding to use only blue and white

and another using only purples. They will all look fabulous when finished.
